  Brilliant. The whole history of Scotland is played out here.
  
  Real shame it closed down. And for FOUR YEARS no less. What kind of building takes four years to renovate?
  I mean they built the Burj Khalifa in 5 years... and that's an 828 meter tall super-skyscraper.
  
  O well... still gets 5 from me. Hope when it re-opens it will be even better.

  An interesting collection of artefacts and exhibits in a beautiful, purpose-built building. There isn't a huge amount for children to do here but, as an adult, I can not fault the information on offer. The tours are very good as well. NOTE: It is currently closed for refurbishment.
